Will it work with my EV?
Yes. It charges through Type 2, the standard on every EV sold in Malaysia.
Your actual charging speed will depend on the lower of two limits: the charger’s rating and your car’s onboard AC charger (many EVs cap AC charging at 7 kW or 11 kW, so a 22 kW wallbox won’t push them any faster).
Will it work with my home?
The E Series is a three-phase charger, 11 or 22 kW. Single-phase homes can’t use it.
Installing the 11 kW or 22 kW version requires a three-phase electrical supply. Having three-phase isn’t the end of it. Your installer still has to check there’s spare capacity once the aircons and water heater are counted.
Charging Speed & Overnight Time
On single-phase, a 7.4 kW unit adds roughly 35 to 40 km of range per hour. Plug in after dinner and most cars are full by morning.
Faster only counts if your car and your DB can both take it. For daily driving, 7.4 kW overnight is plenty.
| Power Rating | Est. Speed (km/hr) | 0–100% (60 kWh Battery) |
|---|---|---|
| 7.4 kW (Single-phase) | ~35–40 km/hr | ~8–9 hrs |
| 11 kW (Three-phase) | ~55–60 km/hr | ~5–6 hrs |
| 22 kW (Three-phase) | ~110–120 km/hr | ~3 hrs |

Installation & Safety
A good charger badly wired is still a bad charger. For the Zeeda Energy E Series (Zhida/ZD), a proper job includes:
- A dedicated EV circuit originating from your distribution board (DB).
- Cable sized for hours at full load. A 32 A charger runs flat out all night, so undersized wire will cook.
- Proper earthing and surge/circuit protection.
- A load check before anything is drilled, so you know your supply can carry it.
- Full testing and compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) EVCS guidelines.
- Assistance with TNB application (if supply upgrades are needed).
Smart Features
- Scheduled charging: book sessions in the ZeedaEnergy app
- Remote control: start or stop from your phone
- Status check: see charging state when you’re out
- Residual current protection: 30 mA AC + 6 mA DC built in
- Pedestal option: for a free-standing install
Dynamic Load Balancing
Zeeda doesn’t publish load balancing details for the E Series. Ask your installer how they’ll stop it tripping the main breaker, or cap the current.
Cable & Everyday Convenience
It has a Type 2 connection, but Zeeda doesn’t publish the cable length. Ask before buying and measure from wall to charge port.
Weather & Durability
Zeeda rates it IP66 and IK10, so heavy rain and knocks are covered. It’s rated from −40 °C to 55 °C.
App User Experience
You use the ZeedaEnergy app to check charging status, schedule sessions and switch it on or off remotely.

Yes, the 22 kW version, on three-phase with spare capacity. There's no single-phase version.
Yes. It charges through Type 2, the standard on every EV sold in Malaysia. Real speed is the lower of the charger rating and your car's onboard AC charger, usually 7 to 11 kW.
The E Series is three-phase only, at 11 or 22 kW. Single-phase homes need a different charger.
At 11 kW on three-phase, a 60 kWh battery goes from 20% to 80% in about 3.5 hours. The catch is your car. Many EVs top out at 7.4 kW on AC, so check your car's onboard charger before paying for the 22 kW version.
Zeeda doesn't publish a Malaysian price, so ask an installer for a quote. Your home needs a three-phase supply. If you only have single-phase, budget for a TNB upgrade on top of the charger.
Yes. Zeeda rates it IP66 and IK10, so an open wall is fine. Shade still helps.
Zeeda doesn't publish a warranty period for the E Series. Get it in writing from whoever sells it.
